Way Back Yonder Antiques was established in Chesapeake, Virginia in 1991 and has been growing ever since. We expanded from our original 900 square feet to 2400 square feet in 1994... but by 1996 we had already outgrown that space. In 1996 we purchased the building at 620 High Street in Olde Towne Portsmouth. Following a complete renovation, Way Back Yonder opened its new 6000 square foot facility in November 1997.

We are experienced and knowledgeable antiques dealers and are constantly acquiring and displaying a wide range of quality antiques in our shop. You will find an excellent collection of furniture, including desks, tables, china closets, chairs, beds, and more, plus one of the largest selections of antique glass, silver, china, flow blue, jewelry, and accessories in the Hampton Roads region.

Way Back Yonder Antiques is owned and operated by Ed Forlines and Ken Woolard. We spend most of our days running the shop, but we feel that being involved in the community is also important. Here is more information about us:
